Venice, Florida Ronald J. Gagliardi 1942 — 2024 Ronald J. Gagliardi, age 81, of Venice, FL, passed away on January 29, 2024. He was born in Lockport, NY on October 5, 1942 to Albert and Josephine Gagliardi. Ron was an industrial engineer for General Motors before he retired and moved from Lockport to Florida many years ago. Ron enjoyed sports of all kinds, but he was known as an avid NY Yankee fan. He was very active in the Englewood, FL Senior Softball League. She was the daughter of the late John Edward Pecoraro and Helen Jean Dodge Pecoraro. She was the widow of Norman Groff Hess Jr. who predeceased her on September 1, 2006, and she was predeceased by her daughter Catherine Jane Trautman on November 4, 2008. Phyllis was also predeceased by two brothers, Edward Anthony and John Francis Pecoraro. Phyllis was a homemaker who raised six children.
