Vehicle-specific instructions for removing your car stereo and speakers

The Crutchfield MasterSheet™ is a set of vehicle-specific instructions that shows you how to remove the stereo and speakers in your vehicle. In this video, we describe all of the work that goes into researching a vehicle and creating our instructions. What's more, this same vehicle infois used to fuel our massive vehicle database. Disassemble your dash with confidence
We have removal instructionsfor most, but not all, of the thousands of vehicles in our database. Our unique instructions aremuch more helpful than the generic installation instructions you'll get anywhere else. We include clear pictures of the vehicle and detailed instructions that are specifc and easy to understand.

These detailed instructions are free with your Crutchfield car stereo or speaker order. We even send it to you ahead of the order via email so that you can take a look at what's involved in the installation before your new car audio gear even arrives! It'll be included in your shipping confirmation email.

When you purchase a car stereo from Crutchfield, the instructions start here. They're step-by-step, screw by screw, clip by clip, taking the vehicle apart...we write the instructions, we've got measurements of the depth, the height, of the width of the cavities; we just try to get every piece of information we can for our customers as well as our techs and salespeople.
Typically we take between 300 and 700 pictures per day per vehicle. Wayne takes the pictures, I write the copy, it's proofed several times by multiple people so we know we've got it perfect. And all this information is put into our database so that online people can find what fits their vehicle, or what doesn't, and they'll be able to make a purchase without having to worry about it. And get photo by photo, screw by screw disassembly instructions. So a lot of people who have never done it before have the opportunity to do the work themselves.

Need detailed instructions on how to disconnect original equipment stereo cd radio from my 2006 Chevrolet Colorado crew cab so I can buy a similar new one from you. Are installation instructions included? Want to see disconnect instructions first to be sure I can handle the job. Please advise ordering instructions and recommendation for replacement cd radio. Thank you.
