Disneyland Paris Vegan Tips and Tricks

Now if you are traveling to Disneyland Paris vegan the first you will want to know is:

Can you eat vegan at Disneyland Paris?

ULTIMATE Disneyland Paris Vegan Guide - Wandermust Family (1)

Can you eat vegan disneyland Paris

And the answer is yes you can eat vegan at Disneyland Paris however I would urge some caution when you peruse the menus (more on this later).

Disneyland now states that

All restaurants in our parks and Disney accommodation offer at least one vegan option, without animal-based products (meat, fish, dairy products, eggs, honey and others

In the past it has be quite difficult to eat Vegan at Disneyland Paris with lots of modifications needed to make vegetarian food vegan and your options were very limited.

It is however in fact however getting easier to be vegan at Disneyland Paris but there are still challenges for vegans traveling to the parks.

For instance it can be sometimes hard to find vegan options on menus and other times there will be vegan options that aren’t labelled as such.

And sometimes the Green V sign as illustrated above is for vegetarian food i.e. cheddar cheese and jalapeño bites as in this example.

And sometimes you will find vegan aspects of a non vegan meal labelled as such so order with some caution.

This is where this guide comes in.

How to find vegan food at Disneyland Paris?

To locate the Vegan Food at Disneyland Paris restaurants you need to look on the menus for a green V symbol. This is normal easy to find and there should be at least one option at every restaurant.

However be careful to read the menu carefully as sometimes the V will be next to a component of a meal that otherwise has animal products in. For instance you can see in the below menu.

Are there children’s vegan meals?

Children’s Vegan Meals at Disneyland PAris

While the adult meals at Disneyland Paris have improved in terms of the number of vegan of options. However this is not reflected in the amount of children’s vegan meals.

In many places for children you will still have to modify children’s meals that are vegetarian or choose adult meals.

Is there much variety in Disneyland Paris vegan food?

Disneyland Paris is doing better at diversifying the vegan options however you will find a lot of Beyond Burgers Meat Free Burgers available at the quick service restaurants at Disneyland Paris.

Are there vegan drinks at Disneyland Paris?

ULTIMATE Disneyland Paris Vegan Guide - Wandermust Family (3)

Cable Car Cafe Sign at Disneyland Paris

If you want a nice cup of coffee then some of the best place to go in Disneyland Paris are the Cable Car Bakery on Main Street.

Here they offer drinks such as Capuccinos made with Oat Milk at around 6 Euros per person. However be warned vegan or not, the coffee in Disneyland Paris is not great anywhere.

Is there Vegan ice cream at Disneyland Paris

If you are traveling to Disneyland Paris in August or July then you may find you want an Ice cream to cool off but is there a vegan ice cream option?

The Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlour has vegan Ben and Jerry’s cookie dough ice cream and other quick service restaurants and food stands have vegan almond magnum and vegan solar.

Other Considerations for Vegans at Disneyland Paris

If you do spot something at Disneyland Paris that you think may be vegan but isn’t marked that way it is worth double checking with staff.

For instance in many places you would think white rice can be a vegan option however at Disneyland Paris they often cook rice with butter making it decidedly un-vegan.

Therefore my biggest tip is always check with staff to make sure things are actually vegan.

Also although there are now vegan options at all the Disneyland Paris restaurants food may not be prepared in a vegan friendly way.

For instance in many restaurants vegan food may be prepared on the same surfaces as non-vegan food. For instance the grill is shared at Casey’s Corner for vegan and no vegan food and the fryer for vegan fish and chips is shared at Toad Hall.

Disneyland Park Vegan Options

ULTIMATE Disneyland Paris Vegan Guide - Wandermust Family (4)

Character Dining Options

The Disneyland Park is the only park at Disneyland Paris or Euro Disney as it used to be known that has character dining options. There are two character dining options –Auberge de Cendrillon andPlaza Gardens. The first of which is the place to meet princesses and the second has a range of classic characters and classic movie characters deeding on the time of day you visit.

However what about vegan options for those wanting to do character dining?

Auberge de Cendrillon

ULTIMATE Disneyland Paris Vegan Guide - Wandermust Family (5)

Menu at Auberge De Cendrillon

As you can see in the menu above there are definitely vegan options at Auberge de Cendrillon in the form of

  • Starter – Pumpkin Soup with Pumpkin puree
  • Main – pea and herb finger.
  • Desert – warm chocolate lava cake with morello cherries and a soya cherry emulsion.

Out of all of the restaurants I think Auberge de Cendrillon has some of the fanciest and most French eating options at Disneyland Paris.

Auberge also has some vegan options for children which are severely lacking in other dining establishments throughout Disneyland Paris.

Plaza Gardens

ULTIMATE Disneyland Paris Vegan Guide - Wandermust Family (6)

Plaza Gardens unlike Auberge de Cendrillon is a buffet restaurant.

The buffet restaurants at Disneyland Paris all have similar vegan options. For instance if you go for breakfast at a buffet restaurants they usually will serve a combination of the below options:

  • croissants (on request),
  • vegan sausages
  • baked/fried vegetables,
  • baked beans,
  • fruit and salad
  • soy dairy options choices

and later in the day there are usually a combination of vegetables, fruit, white rice, Mickey-shaped crispy potatoes, vegan gnocchi , pasta with tomato sauce and vegan meat.

Table Service Restaurants

Now we have considered the character dining options, we will turn our attention to the other types of restuarants at Disneyland Paris – the table service restaurants and the quick service dining options.

Here are some of our favorite table service restaurants at Disneyland Paris and the vegan options they each have.

Captain Jacks

Best Restaurants at Disneyland Paris – Captain Jack’s

Captain Jacks is one of the most popular table service restaurants at Disneyland Paris and as such requires advance bookings.

If you are looking for vegan options at a table service restaurant the options here are more varied than just burgers so can add some variety for vegans at Disneyland Paris .

Restaurant Agrabah Cafe

This is a buffet restaurant but given its Middle Eastern tilt the vegan options here are plentiful. Some of the most popular and best vegan options at Agrabah Cafe are Falafel and Hummus.

However as with any buffet restaurant at Disneyland Paris we recommend that you check with staff with what exactly is vegan friendly.

Lucky Nugget Saloon

ULTIMATE Disneyland Paris Vegan Guide - Wandermust Family (8)

Lucky Nugget Saloon Menu – being vegan and vegetarian at Disneyland Paris

The Lucky Nugget Saloon is another table service restaurant but doesn’t have as varied an option as some of the other table service meals.

The lucky nugget vegan option is:

  • a plant-Based Burger (potato burger bun, beyond meat patty, vegan tartare sauce, tomato, vegan cheddar slices, arugula).

While this is a nice vegan option it isn’t particular unusual compared to the quick service restaurants.

Silver Spur Steakhouse

Although steakhouses are not the first place you may think of for vegan food but the silver spur steakhouse has vegan meatballs, vegan sausages and vegan friendly salads.

Quick Service

Quick Service restaurants for those that don’t know are restaurants where you can’t make reservation in advance.

However if you are visiting at a particularly busy time we recommend using mobile ordering to save you time in your Disneyland Paris itinerary.

Toad Hall

Toad Hall is a very popular restaurant at Disneyland Paris and has one of the best vegan meals at the park in the form of vegan fish and chips with vegan tartare sauce.

Cafe Hyperion

Cafe Hyperion has the vegan burger but this is not different to other quick service restaurants.

The full Cafe Hyperion Vegan menu includes:

  • Plant-Based Burger (Note: the vegan food is cooked on same grill as meat).

  • Vegetable Salad with Cereal

  • Side Salad

  • Fries

Other Quick service restaurants with similar options are:

  • Au Chalet de la Marionette
  • Cowboy Cookout Barbecue

Fuente del Oro

Again if you want something a bit different to vegan burgers then you should head to Fuente del Oro, Fuente del Oro offers a fantastic vegan burrito. You can also grab paprika fries here and churros so long as you don’t have the vegan dup.

Hakuna Matata

This quick service restaurant has limited vegan options in the form of a salad and paprika fries.

Pizzaria Bella Notte

Pizzaria Bella Notte in Fantasyland has a greatNeapolitan Pasta that is vegan friendly.

There is also a Neapolitan Pasta dish served at:

  • Colonel Hathi’s Outpost

Last Chance Café

This quick service menu also has options for vegans other than a burger in the form of vegan child.

Casey’s Corner

We love Casey’s Corner as we find it one of the quickest quick service restaurants and the food brides the line between meal and Disneyland Paris snacks.

The Casey’s Corner hot dog restaurant vegan options include:

  • Plant-based Hot Dog with Veggie Chilli alongside vegetable Salad with Cereals (bulgur wheat)

Other vegan options available there also include fruit bags and French fries however it is worth remembering that food preparation of meat and vegan options is on the same grill.

Walt Disney Studios Vegan Options

ULTIMATE Disneyland Paris Vegan Guide - Wandermust Family (9)

Historically speaking the Walt Disney Studios Park was more difficult to be vegan at. However, since the opening of the Avenger’s Campus I have to say the vegan options have improved exponentially.

In this guide we will round up the vegan options in both table service and quick service restaurant at Walt Disney Studios – there is no character dining currently at Walt Disney Studios.

Table Service Restaurants

Bistro Chez Remy

Pym Kitchen

ULTIMATE Disneyland Paris Vegan Guide - Wandermust Family (11)

Pym Kitchen at Avengers Campus

Pym Kitchen is another buffet restaurant at Disneyland Paris. I always recommend checking with servers at buffet restaurants to double check vegan options but they usually include items such asSoybean Molecular Salad,Wheat Strips and Chickpeas andPear Crumble. These are the three options which are listed vegan options but other things you may be able to eat are:

  • plain Pretzels
  • Hummus
  • pastas such as Spaghetti with Vegetables and fussili with tomato sauce.
  • cold soups i.e. Gazpacho and Melon soup
  • plant based crab flavoured cakes
  • Fried Cauliflower
  • potatoes
  • vegetables
  • fruit

however you should double check with your server to ensure it is vegan friendly.

Quick Service Restaurants

StarkFactory

Stark Factory is a great quick service restaurant at Walt Disney Studios that has a good vegan option. Here you can get:

  • Vegan Neapolitan Pennette
  • Vegan Hyper Bowl that includes: tofu, lettuce, bulgar, quinoa and a soy vinaigrette.

Restaurant en Coulisse

Another quick service restaurant that serves a vegan friendly burger.

Disney Village Vegan Options

The Disney Village restaurants has some vegan options but it is worth noting that the food options often change in the village and currently the Disney village is going through a redevelopment so this section is likely to change at short notice.

However at time of writing some of the vegetarian and vegan options in the village are:

  • Annette’s – Beyond Meat Burger with vegan cheese, wasabi and salad options.
  • Billy Bob’s Country Western Saloon – a buffet restaurant that it is worth checking with server for options that are vegan.
  • Rainforest Cafe – not the best place in the village for Vegans as the options are a grain salad and anaconda pasta both of which require modifications to make it vegan rather than vegetarian.
  • Earl of Sandwich – alert staff that you are vegan when you ordering as a vegetarian option will need to be modified to make vegan.
  • Vapiano – has vegan pastas such asPasta Pomodoro andPasta Aglio E Olio. Also pizzas can be made vegan with the removal of cheese but you will need to speak with your server to ensure you get a vegan rather than vegetarian option.

Disney Accommodation Vegan Options

ULTIMATE Disneyland Paris Vegan Guide - Wandermust Family (12)

On-SIte Vs Off Site Hotels at Disneyland Paris

All of the hotel accommodation that is run by Disney i.e. the Disneyland Paris Hotels on site, all will have at least one vegan option.

Most of the hotel restaurant will have a buffet restaurant so I would recommend as with any buffet restaurant to check what options are exactly vegan.

Seasonal Vegan Food and Snacks

One of the things that I love about traveling to Disneyland Paris is the snacks. Snacks at Disneyland Paris are often themed to the season i.e Christmas and Halloween themed snacks.

However in many cases these seasonal snacks are not vegan friendly. Hopefully this will improve in time.

However the best seasonal vegan choice is at the food festival outside Remy’s and Ratatouille that happens at Christmas and sometimes happens in the summer time too.

ULTIMATE Disneyland Paris Vegan Guide - Wandermust Family (13)

Seasonal Vegan Food at Disneyland Paris

There is theL’Hiver Gourmand” food festival in 2022 had the following options:
